Equally at home in the choral ensemble and on the opera stage, Boston-based soprano Jennifer O’Brien graduated from Westminster Choir College, where she sang with the Grammy-nominated Westminster Williamson Voices. 2026-2027 engagements include the Boston Choral Festival with Cantata Singers, where she is a soprano soloist, and the Cantata Singers Chamber Series. In the Boston area, she is an active choral artist with Trinity Church in Copley Square, and with Cantata Singers. As Venus in Orpheus in the Underworld with the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival, she was noted as “sultry” and “bored, despite having all… at her beck and call” (bigislandmusic.net). She received a Master of Music from Boston Conservatory, studying with Kathryn Wright.
